Mood of June 2020 is the expression of the world that has slowed down with the highly of “THIS IS TEMPORARY AND WILL PASS”
For me personally, the lockdown feels like a new norm. I’m used to it and accepted it so probably when it’s lifted in the UK I will be experiencing a new wave of anxiety from traveling and interacting with people in real life.
Instead of making summer travel plans, I have made summer working plans and I decided to take a leap to really make this business work. So I will discipline myself and try things that are out of my comfort zone like getting up at 5AM, focusing on my time management and making sure the work is done by the evening so I can spend the time with my loved ones and myself.
I will keep you updated on my instagram account of how I’m doing and feeling.
I’m a huge believer in failure and the lessons that we can learn from them. For example, a year ago I was trying to start Anna Keo but I really didn’t know-how. My thinking was: if you make an online shop and do one Instagram giveaway you are successful. How naive I was. Looking back at it I remember thinking what a big fat unemployed failure I was and deciding to quit and go in search of graduate jobs.
Here we are a year later and I’m back at it again with a long-loved and developed greeting card collection, taking first steps towards my dream and believing in myself.
So I hope in June we manage to stay calm and focused as the world slowly comes back to a normal or different state.
